The Strawberry Patch Pancake House

$18.99

The Strawberry Patch Pancake House by Laurie Gilmore
Genre: Contemporary Romance / Small-Town Romantic Comedy
Series: Dream Harbor #4 (standalone within the cozy town series)

World-renowned chef Archer needs help—and a home—for his young daughter, so they hire free-spirited Iris as a live-in nanny. When she moves into the guest apartment and he’s cooking pancakes downstairs (sometimes topless), sparks begin to fly. Set in quaint Dream Harbor, this story is a delightful mix of single-dad charm, slow-burn romance, and found family dynamics amid cozy kitchen scenes.

If you liked: The Pumpkin Spice Café, The Cinnamon Bun Book Store, or Emily Henry’s Beach Read, you’ll love this warm, sweet, and feel-good spring romance bursting with heart…and pancakes.

My Favorite Dream Harbor Book Yet!

This is hands-down my favorite in the Dream Harbor series so far! You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and yes—you’ll definitely get a little hot under the collar. 😏

The single dad + grumpy/sunshine + forced proximity tropes are all done so well. Having a child as part of the romance storyline can be tricky, but Gilmore absolutely nails it—heartwarming without being awkward, and it adds so much depth to the story.

I’m starting to worry she might run out of characters, and I really don’t want this series to end. Thankfully, there’s another book coming this September, and I’ll be counting down the days! Edited: AND another one in the works!
